The 4th Cricket World Cup was Organized by Pakistan and India in 1987. The final match was played in Kolkata between Australia and England. Australia Played the first inning and scored 253/5 in 50 overs, England tries to chase the target but failed and England Team made 246/8 runs in 50 overs.

The 5th Cricket World Cup was Organized by Australia and New Zealand in 1992. The Final match was played in Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) between Pakistan vs England. Pakistan Played the first inning and scored 249/6 in 50 overs, England tries to chase the target but failed and England Team made 227 runs all out in 49.2 overs.

The 6th Cricket World Cup was Organized by Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka in 1996. The final match was played in Mumbai between Australia vs Sri Lanka. Australia Played the first inning and scored 247/7 in 50 overs, Sri Lanka chased the target in 46.2 overs and made 247/3 runs, and win by 7 wickets.

 

The 7th Cricket World Cup was Organized by England and Wales in 1999. The Final match was played in London between Pakistan vs Australia. Pakistan Played the first inning and scored 132/10 all out in 39 overs, Australia chased the target in 20.1 overs and made 133/2 runs and win by 8 wickets.

The 8th Cricket World Cup was Organized by South Africa in 2003. The Final match was played in Johannesburg between India vs Australia. Australia Played the first inning and scored 359/2 in 50 overs, India tries to Chase the target but failed  Team India all out 234 runs in 39.2 overs

New Zealand  Played the first inning and all-out on 183 runs in 45 overs, and Australia chased the target in 33.1 overs  Some matches were played in Australia and Some played in New Zealand.

This world cup format is the same as the previous World Cup 2011.
